New Mexico State vs Tennessee
This is a game that the Aggies are just going to be blown away in. The New Mexico State team has struggled lately and has lost to a lot of teams including a recent loss to Kennesaw State. The last win for the Aggies was against the Sam Houston team by a score of 37-10, but it has been 4 weeks since the New Mexico State team seen the win column. To make matters worse the level of competition that the Aggies have faced is not nearly as good as what the Volunteers are bringing to the field. Tennessee for their part has had a rough go lately winning only 3 out of the last 5. However, the losses have come against Alabama and Oklahoma, both of those schools are highly touted and ranked higher than the Volunteers. With that being the case, I am looking for Tennessee to bounce back from the loss against Oklahoma in their last game with a chip on their shoulder and easily win this game as the Aggies struggle to keep the Volunteers offense in check. Raptors vs Pacers
The Raptors are going to have to avoid overlooking the Pacers in this game here. The Pacers are far from a good team and have only managed to get a lone win on the season thus far. To make matters worse for Indiana is the win came on the home court, which is good, but so have 4 losses as well. The Raptors which does not help the Pacers fans feel any better are 5-3 on the road this season and have not looked all that bad when playing on the road. The Pacers for their part are missing the offensive and defensive combination that the teams in the NBA need to win is missing as the Pacers are only putting in 108 points per game, but are giving up 123 points per game. The Raptors for their part has the balance with only a 3 point difference between scored and allowed, with 119.8 points per game scored and 116.1 points per game allowed. Now, I do not see the Pacers offense coming to life to score that many points as they have only broken the 110 point mark 1 time in the last 5 games and I do not see it happening in this game here. Lightning vs Panthers
The Florida Panthers and the Tampa Bay Lighting have always provided plenty of heart pounding action on the ice when these two teams meet. However, what I really like in this game is not the rivalry game between these two teams its the total in this game. The odds that I have seen have the total set at a 5.5 and that is coming from two teams that are putting in 3.06 goals a game for Tampa and 2.82 goals a game for Florida. Now, what else makes the over very tempting in this game here is out of the last 5 games for both teams they have had 3 games each that have went over 5.5 goals easily and that comes from their scoring or the goals allowed. Neither defense for the Panthers or the Lightning as the Tampa club gives up 3 goals a game and the Florida club gives up 2.94. With that type of play and the fact that this rivalry tends to bring out the offensive side of the teams and the defense falls by the wayside I think this total will be blown away.
