In the semifinal, he added 223 passing yards and 68 rushing yards, including a rushing score. BC averaged 31.1 points per game in the regular season, finishing with 559 total points. Running back James Butler powered the ground game with 1,213 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns, while receivers Keon Hatcher (1,688 yards, 9 TDs) and Justin McInnis (1,256 yards, 7 TDs) formed one of the league’s top receiving duos. The Lions gained over 7,700 total yards this year but allowed 499 points defensively. The pass rush has been inconsistent, and they will need consistent pressure to slow Trevor Harris and Saskatchewan’s passing game.

Saskatchewan Roughriders

Quarterback Trevor Harris completed 73.6% of his passes for 4,549 yards, 24 touchdowns, and only 11 interceptions, directing a balanced offense that averaged 26.2 points per game during the regular season. Harris spreads the ball well, with KeeSean Johnson and Dohnte Meyers both topping 1,000 receiving yards and combining for 12 touchdowns. A.J. Ouellette led the ground attack with 1,222 rushing yards and eight scores. Saskatchewan’s defense was among the league’s best against the run, allowing just 76 rushing yards per game, and held opponents to 22.7 points per outing. After a week of rest, the Roughriders should be fresh and ready to defend home field, where they went 6–3 this season.

The Roughriders won two of three meetings. Saskatchewan earned a 37–18 win at home in June and a 33–27 road victory in July, while BC claimed a 27–21 win in Regina in October. The games were close, with all three decided by 10 points or fewer.
