SP Foster Griffin (12-2) allowed three runs in six plus innings to earn the win for the Nationals (53-52), who improved to 21-32 at home.
Thirty-seven year old righty Miles Mikolas (3-7 5.60 ERA) is no longer a serviceable major league caliber starter. Last time out, Mikolas (3.2 IP) was tagged for six hits and three runs during an 8-7 road loss against Colorado.
