The Chicago White Sox have won 29 of their first 46 home games and are sitting atop the AL Central Division standings. During Friday;s home victory, Chicago OF Tristan Peters became the seventh player in franchise history to hit for the cycle and drove in four runs. DH Andrew Benintendi went 4-for-5 with four RBIs and scored twice for the White Sox, who improved to 48-45 overall.

Chicago manager Will Venable will turn to thirty-three year old righty Erick Fedde (4-6 4.34 ERA) on Saturday. In his last start, Fedde (5.1 IP) scattered eight hits and gave up three runs (2 ER) during a 7-6 road victory against Cleveland.
