SP Will Warren (8-6) gave up three runs in five plus innings and took the loss for the Yankees (64-51), who fell to 27-25 at home.
New York manager Aaron Boone will give the nod to thirty-two year old lefty Max Fried (4-3 3.12 ERA) on Friday. Fried spent his first eight seasons in Atlanta and is a three-time All-Star. Last time out, Fried (5.2 IP) allowed one run and struck out seven batters during a 5-2 road loss against the Chicago Cubs.
