SP Shane Bieber (1-1) fanned six batters across and lasted six innings to earn the win for the Blue Jays, who improved to 46-52 overall.

The Blue Jays will counter with twenty-two year old righty Trey Yesavage (4-4 3.72 ERA) in the series finale. Last time out, Yesavage (1.2 IP) walked an alarming seven batters and gave up four runs during an 8-7 road loss against San Diego.
