The Cleveland Guardians are riding a four-game winning streak and are 2.5 games back in the race for the final AL Wild Card spot. During Monday’s home victory, 2B Daniel Schneemann went 3-for-5 with two runs and two RBIs to spark the Cleveland offense. SP Slade Cecconi (6-6) took a no-hit bid into the eighth inning and notched the win for the Guardians (73-70), who improved to 36-33 at home.

Twenty-five year old southpaw Joey Cantillo (3.73 ERA) has transitioned nicely into a starting role for the Guardians. In his last start, Cantillo (6 IP) allowed one run and struck out seven batters during an 8-1 road triumph against Boston.
