The Twins will counter with thirty year old right-hander Joe Ryan (6-5 2.85 ERA) on Saturday. Last time out, Ryan fired seven shutout frames and fanned nine batters during a 6-1 road victory against New York. Ryan ranks ninth in the majors with 122 strikeouts and owns a sparkling 1.04 WHIP.
