Miami has won three straight, including a 9-7 win over Colorado on Thursday. The Marlins are 73-80 and sit fourth in the NL East. Texas has dropped four in a row, most recently a 5-2 loss to Houston. The Rangers are 79-74 and hold third in the AL West. Miami is on the verge of being eliminated from postseason contention, while Texas is four games behind the final AL wild card. Miami enters off a sweep at Coors Field, scoring 23 runs in the three games.
