SP Bubba Chandler (5-8) tossed six scoreless innings and struck out five batters to earn the win for the Pirates (58-61), who improved to 30-29 at home.
Pittsburgh manager Don Kelly will give the nod to twenty-five year old righty Jared Jones (2-3 4.02 ERA) in the series finale. Through 56 innings of work, Jones has fanned 62 batters and surrendered nine long balls while posting a solid 1.11 WHIP.
