Baltimore turns to Tyler Wells, who went 5.0 solid innings (3.60 ERA, 1.00 WHIP) in his lone outing. While the Orioles’ overall pitching numbers are shakier (4.65 ERA, .262 OBA), Wells’ command fits well against a Pittsburgh order that has struggled of late. If Wells can remain in the game through the fifth or sixth inning, Baltimore will have an opportunity against the Pirates’ bullpen.
