Reds Preview

The Cincinnati Reds have dropped seven of their previous 11 games and are trapped in the NL Central Division basement. During Monday’s home loss, Cincinnati batters went 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position and left ten men on base. SP Brady Singer (5-13) gave up four runs in four plus innings and took the loss for the Reds (65-73), who fell to 32-37 at home.

Cincinnati skipper Terry Francona will turn to twenty-eight year old lefty Nick Lodolo (3-3 5.24 ERA) on Tuesday. Control has been an issue for Lodolo, who has walked 33 batters and surrendered 15 long balls across 79 frames.
