Rangers Preview

The Texas Rangers are three games above .500 at home and trail AL West Division leading Houston by 2.5 games. During Tuesday’s home victory, Texas SS Ezequiel Duran went 3-for-5 and drove in four runs. DH Corey Seager collected three hits and scored twice. SP MacKenzie Gore fired six shutout frames and did not factor in the decision for the Rangers (56-58).

Texas manager Skip Schumaker has not announced a starting pitcher for this matchup. The Rangers currently rank 21st in the majors with a 4.34 ERA and a respectable 1.29 WHIP. Texas starters have logged 36 quality starts.
