OF Chase DeLauter collected four hits and scored three runs for the Guardians (69-68), who improved to 32-36 at home.

Cleveland manager Stephen Vogt will give the nod to talented right-hander Gavin Williams (12-7 3.98 ERA) in the series opener. Through 156 innings of work, Williams ranks third in the majors with 204 strikeouts and sports a solid 1.12 WHIP.
