All-Star G Cade Cunningham tallied a game-high 27 points (8-23 FG), nine assists, and five rebounds. Detroit F Tobias Harris scored 23 points on 8-for-16 shooting and grabbed seven rebounds. Ausar Thompson added 17 points and eight boards for the Pistons.

The Orlando Magic won 25 of 40 home games during the regular season and are looking to win their first playoff series since 2010. The eighth-seeded Magic (2-1) ranked 12th in the league in defensive efficiency and allowed 115.1 points per contest. During Saturday’s home victory, Orlando connected on 15-for-33 from long distance and led by as many as 17 points.

Paolo Banchero and Desmond Bane led five Orlando players in double figures with 25 points each. Banchero narrowly missed a triple-double with 12 points and nine rebounds. Franz Wagner added 17 points, six assists, and five rebounds for the Magic.
