Veteran F Tobias Harris led seven Detroit players in double figures with 19 points (7-13 FG) and four rebounds. All-Star C Jalen Duren chipped in 16 points (6-7 FT) and seven rebounds. Daniss Jenkins added 16 points and 14 assists for the Pistons, who improved to 26-12 on the road.

The Orlando Magic have dropped seven of their previous 11 games and are a half-game out of eighth place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Magic (42-36) rank in the middle of the pack in defensive efficiency and are giving up 115.4 points per contest. On Sunday, Orlando outscored New Orleans by 11 points in the fourth quarter to escape with a 112-108 road victory.

Desmond Bane led six Orlando players in double figures with 27 points (8-19 FG) and six rebounds. Former number one overall draft pick Paolo Banchero contributed 23 points (11-15 FT), 16 rebounds, and six assists. Wendell Carter Jr. added 13 points and five boards for the Magic, who outrebounded the Pelicans by a 57-47 margin.
