Golden State C Kristaps Porzingis tallied a game-high 30 points (13-14 FT), five rebounds, and four assists in 26 minutes off the bench. De’Anthony Melton scored 30 points on a 12-for-17 shooting performance. Gui Santos added 18 points and five assists for the Warriors, who shot 51 percent from the field.

Celtics Preview

The Boston Celtics have won 23 of their first 33 home games and hold a 1.5 game lead over New York for second place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Celtics (45-23) rank second in the league in offensive efficiency and are scoring 114.3 points per contest. On Monday, Boston connected on 17-for-40 from the three-point line during a 120-112 home victory versus Phoenix.

All-Star G Jaylen Brown converted 19-of-21 free-throw attempts and led all scorers with 41 points. Jayson Tatum and Derrick White scored 21 points each on a combined 16-for-34 from the floor. Payton Pritchard added 19 points (6-13 FG) and six assists in a reserve role for the Celtics.
