The Indiana Pacers visit the Minnesota Timberwolves at Target Center, with the opening tipoff at 7:00 PM ET on FanDuel Sports Network Indiana. Indiana will be playing the back half of a back-to-back after facing the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night. The Pacers dropped their opener 141–135 in double overtime to Oklahoma City, while the Timberwolves split their first two games, falling to the Lakers after a win over Portland. Indiana’s opener showed how dangerous its offense can be. Bennedict Mathurin scored 36 points on 9-for-19 shooting and hit three threes. Pascal Siakam added 32 points, 15 rebounds, and four assists in his Pacers’ season debut. Obi Toppin finished with 20 points and five rebounds, and rookie Jarace Walker chipped in 13. The Pacers shot 44% from the field but hit only 13 of 43 three-point attempts.

Indiana gave up 141 points and 55 rebounds in the loss. The defense gave up too many open shots and allowed too many second looks. The backcourt remains short-handed with Andrew Nembhard and T.J.
