The Charlotte Hornets finished the regular season a game above .500 at home and are looking to snap a nine-year playoff drought. The Hornets ranked ninth in the league in offensive efficiency and scored 116 points per contest. Charlotte is one of the premier rebounding teams in the NBA, but ended up 25th in the NBA in turnover rate.

Former number two overall draft pick Brandon Miller (20.2 ppg) led the Hornets in scoring. LaMelo Ball (20.1 ppg) is the engine of Charlotte’s offense and dished out a team-high 7.1 assists a night. Rookie G Kon Knueppel (18.5 ppg) has been a difference maker with his three-point shooting and missed just one game.
