NBA Parlay for Wednesday 12/3/25

Wednesday’s NBA card brings two matchups where one side holds a clear statistical and roster advantage. After breaking down the ESPN analytics, injury reports, and recent trends, I’ve built a 2-leg NBA parlay with strong value heading into December 3, 2025.

NBA Parlay

Sacramento Kings vs Houston Rockets – Rockets -15.5 (-110)
Charlotte Hornets vs New York Knicks – Knicks -9.5 (-108)

Leg 1 – Sacramento Kings vs Houston Rockets

Sacramento enters this matchup at 5–16 and riding a three-game losing streak, and their issues are clear: they cannot defend at a high enough level to compete. The Kings allow 122.9 PPG, one of the worst marks in the NBA, and have been giving up huge scoring nights in their recent losses to Memphis, Utah, and Phoenix.

Offensively, the Kings have firepower—Zach LaVine averages 20.7 PPG—but the loss of Domantas Sabonis, their franchise playmaker and rebounder, is a massive blow. Without Sabonis, Sacramento’s rebounding and paint presence fall off a cliff, and they already ranked near the bottom in rebounds per game at 39.7.

Houston comes in at 13–5, including 8–2 in their last 10, and this team is playing elite basketball at both ends. The Rockets score 121.8 PPG, shoot 48%, and dominate transition with their athletic wings. Kevin Durant remains elite at 25.1 PPG on nearly 49% shooting, and Houston’s defensive pressure (9.4 steals per game) creates easy scoring opportunities.

Even with injuries to Fred VanVleet, Dorian Finney-Smith, and Tari Eason, Houston’s depth and spacing make them a nightmare matchup for the Kings—especially with Sacramento missing Sabonis.

The Rockets will be the clear side. Expect Houston to control the boards, dominate second-chance points, and score efficiently inside and out.

Leg 2 – Charlotte Hornets vs New York Knicks

Charlotte enters at 6–15 and just snapped a small winning streak with a loss to the Nets. The Hornets struggle significantly on the road at 1–9, and their defense continues to be a major liability, giving up 120.0 PPG.

The Hornets also come into this matchup extremely shorthanded:

Pat Connaughton – OUT
Tre Mann – OUT
Brandon Miller – OUT
Grant Williams – OUT
LaMelo Ball – GTD

That’s four rotation players out and their best playmaker questionable.

Meanwhile, the Knicks are 13–7 and one of the best home teams in the NBA at 10–1. New York scores 120.4 PPG, and Jalen Brunson is having a monster season, averaging 28.5 PPG on elite efficiency. When New York plays at Madison Square Garden, their spacing, shooting, and defensive discipline take a major step forward.

The Knicks have also won five of their last six at home, including impressive wins over Milwaukee, Toronto, and Charlotte (129–101 on Nov 26).

New York holds the edge in:

FG% (47% to 45%)
Rebounding (46.5 to 44.4)
Assists (27.2 to 25.6)
Steals (8.4 to 6.7)
Home vs road splits (elite vs bottom-tier)

With the injury list heavily favoring New York and Charlotte’s major defensive issues, the Knicks are in prime position to cover the -9.5 spread.

Final Parlay Thoughts

Parlays only hit when both legs connect, and this Wednesday combination offers two matchups with clear edges. Houston’s offensive depth and Sacramento’s defensive collapse set up a major mismatch, while New York’s dominant home record and Charlotte’s growing injury list strongly point toward the Knicks covering.

If both favorites play to their averages, this parlay offers excellent value for December 3, 2025.
