The Utah Jazz visit the Sacramento Kings at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento on Friday. The opening tipoff is 10:00 PM ET on NBC Sports CA. Utah (1–0) opened with a 129–108 win over the Clippers. Utah started fast and never trailed against Los Angeles. The Jazz shot 55.2% from the field and 38.6% from three. Utah won the battle on the glass 46–38 and totaled 38 assists with only 12 turnovers. Walker Kessler went 7-for-7 and finished with 22 points, nine rebounds, and four blocks.

Lauri Markkanen added 20 points and six boards. Keyonte George ran the show with 16 points and nine assists. The bench chipped in 63 points, led by Cody Williams’ 20. Utah must continue its strong play at the rim and not give Sacramento second looks.

Sacramento Kings Preview

Sacramento scored 71 in the first half but faded late in Phoenix. The Kings shot 50.0% from the field and 37.5% from three-point territory. Free throws hurt at 56.5% on 13-for-23. The Kings finished with 24 assists and 13 turnovers.

Zach LaVine scored 30 points on 13-of-24 shooting. DeMar DeRozan added 29 points and nine assists. Dennis Schroder posted 14 and seven assists, while Malik Monk had 19 off the bench.
