Canisius is 4-5 overall and 0-1 in the MAAC, coming off a 69–57 loss to Saint Peter’s. The Golden Griffins have been inconsistent on both sides of the ball, and their offense has struggled to score efficiently against stronger defenses.

On the season, Canisius averages 62.3 points per game while allowing 70.1 points. They shoot 43% from the field and bring down 31.4 rebounds per contest. The offense produces 11.5 assists, along with 2.0 blocks and 3.9 steals per outing. Turnovers and lack of size have been recurring issues, especially in road environments.

Leading scorer B. Ndjonga (12.5 PPG, 47.4% FG) has been reliable, but the supporting cast hasn’t provided enough consistent scoring to keep pace with upper-tier MAAC teams.
