The Blue Hose have used their frontcourt to finish with baskets in the paint, while the Panthers have lived at the line but struggled to make shots from the floor. Jelani Hamilton has carried the scoring load (19.5 points, 94.4% FT) and will attempt to draw contact as the Panthers as a team are converting at an 80.0% clip at the stripe. Joah Chappelle has been solid on the glass (8.0 rebounds), and the defense has created turnovers (8.5 steals).

The issue has been half-court sets. Turnovers are high at 17.0 per game, and the frontcourt has not consistently converted shots. If Georgia State can’t establish an interior threat, Hamilton’s shot-making becomes the only option, and that’s not enough against a tough opponent.
