Arkansas Preview

Arkansas enters at 2-3 overall and 0-1 in SEC play, reeling from a 56-13 loss to Notre Dame. Quarterback Taylen Green has been a dual threat, throwing for 1,398 yards with 12 touchdowns and adding 441 rushing yards and two more scores. He’s been the Razorbacks’ best weapon, but turnovers and red-zone inconsistency have hurt the offense. Receiver O’Mega Blake continues to lead the air attack with 399 yards and three touchdowns on 30 catches. Despite strong starts in several games, Arkansas has struggled to finish drives and protect leads, particularly on the road, where each of its three losses has come.

Tennessee Preview

Tennessee comes in at 4-1 with a 1-1 conference mark, still buzzing from an overtime win over Mississippi State. Joey Aguilar has paced the offense with 1,459 passing yards and 13 touchdowns, showing command and balance across the Volunteers’ spread attack. Chris Brazzell II has been his top target, hauling in 31 passes for 531 yards and seven touchdowns. Running back DeSean Bishop adds a steady ground option, totaling 335 yards and four touchdowns on 49 carries. Tennessee’s defense, led by linebacker Arion Carter with 49 tackles, has shown toughness, though the unit has allowed over 30 points in two of its last three games. Still, Neyland has been a fortress this season, with Tennessee averaging nearly 60 points per game at home.

Arkansas vs Tennessee Prediction

Expect this one to feature explosive offensive possessions early, but Tennessee’s balance and depth should take control as the game progresses. Arkansas’ recent defensive lapses and inability to limit big plays will be costly against a Volunteers offense firing on all cylinders. The Razorbacks may move the ball effectively with Green’s mobility, but sustaining drives against a deeper Tennessee front will be difficult in a raucous road setting.
