The Broncos (9-4) were expected to compete for a College Football Playoff spot, but stumbled in non-conference games against South Florida and Notre Dame. On Friday, Boise State raced out to a 14-point lead after one quarter to claim a 38-21 victory versus UNLV in the Mountain West Conference Championship Game. Boise State QB Maddux Madsen returned from injury to throw for 289 yards and three touchdowns. Dylan Riley rushed for a game-high 75 yards and caught a nine-yard touchdown. Chase Penry added 96 receiving yards for the Broncos.

Washington Preview

The Washington Huskies finished a game above .500 in Big Ten Conference play and secured a ranked victory versus Purdue along the way. The Huskies (8-4) ranked fifth in the conference in total offense and averaged 33.8 points per contest. In the regular season finale, Washington committed a pair of turnovers during a 26-14 home loss versus sixth-ranked Oregon.

Talented WR Denzel Boston caught a pair of touchdowns from Demond Williams Jr. to provide the Washington offense. Sophomore RB Adam Mohammed carried 14 times for a game-high 105 yards. Freshman S Rylon Dillard-Allen recorded 11 solo tackles for the Huskies.
