Florida vs. Texas A&M Picks and Prediction for Saturday, October 11, 2025

By: Jake Allman Updated 10/10/2025, 10:47 PM ET

The Florida Gators head to College Station to face the unbeaten Texas A&M Aggies at 7:00 PM ET on ESPN. Florida snapped a three-game skid last week by edging Texas 29-21, improving to 2-3 overall and 1-1 in SEC play. Texas A&M, now 5-0 and ranked sixth, handled Mississippi State 31-9 and looks to continue its perfect start at Kyle Field under warm 91° weather conditions. Florida Preview

Florida’s offense finally clicked in the win over Texas as freshman quarterback DJ Lagway showed more control, pushing his season totals to 988 yards on 104 completions with seven touchdowns and seven interceptions. His chemistry with Vernell Brown III (291 receiving yards on 21 catches) gives the Gators a reliable passing game, but turnovers remain a real concern. Running back Jadan Baugh has been the stabilizer, rushing 76 times for 396 yards and three scores. The Gators have struggled to find solid play away from Gainesville, losing both road games at Miami and LSU by double digits. Linebacker Myles Graham leads the defense with 29 tackles, though the unit has been inconsistent against the run.

Texas A&M Preview

Texas A&M’s offense has been steadier and more effective behind quarterback Marcel Reed. The sophomore has thrown for 1,256 yards, 11 touchdowns, and just three interceptions, finding a top target in Mario Craver, who leads the team with 557 yards and four touchdowns. Le’Veon Moss has been effective out of the backfield with 343 yards and five scores on 65 carries, giving the Aggies strong balance between the run and pass. On the other side of the ball, Taurean York has anchored a stingy Aggie defense with 34 tackles, while defensive end Cashius Howell has posted seven sacks, a disruptive force that could make life difficult for Lagway.

Texas A&M vs Florida Prediction

Texas A&M’s combination of defensive pressure and offensive execution should control the pace. The Gators’ passing attack can keep this competitive early, but the Aggies’ front seven should wear down Florida in the second half. Expect Texas A&M to stay unbeaten with a strong showing at home.
