Last week, Jonathan Maldonado’s interception return for a touchdown with 2:17 remaining lifted Nevada to a 20-17 home victory versus FCS Sacramento State.

Nevada trailed 10-0 early in the second quarter but evened things on a Joe McFadden 37-yard field goal and a Chuba Purdy three-yard touchdown run. Purdy threw for 144 yards and added a game-high 115 yards on the ground for the Wolf Pack.
