The NJIT offense was awful last season, ranking 352nd in the country, scoring 65.2 points on 40% shooting. Defensively, NIT was just as bad, ranking outside the top 200, allowing 73.1 points on 43.9% shooting from the floor. Sebastian Robinson is the top scorer back this season for the Highlanders after averaging 12 points in 33 minutes per game a year ago. Fordham will have a whole new look this season as the bulk of their scoring from a year ago is no longer on the roster. Defensively, Fordham was terrible a year ago, ranking 324th in the country, allowing 77.9 points on 46.9% shooting from the floor. The affordable offense was far better than their defense last season, ranking 160th in the country, averaging 74.3 points on 42.3% shooting from the floor.
