North Carolina Central is 1-1 heading into a tough road test at Old Dominion on Saturday at 4:00 PM ET. The Eagles lost 27-10 to New Hampshire in the last outing after opening the season with a 31-14 win over Southern. North Carolina Central Preview

North Carolina Central opened strong against Southern, but things unraveled quickly against a much more physical New Hampshire squad. Quarterback Walker Harris has thrown for 358 yards with 2 touchdowns and 1 interception through two games, but the passing game has lacked consistency. Running back Chris Mosley has 288 yards on the ground and has been the offensive workhorse, averaging 8 yards per carry in the win over Southern.

Defensively, the Eagles gave up 27 points and struggled to contain New Hampshire’s balanced attack. North Carolina Central allowed over 400 total yards and couldn’t generate enough pressure on the quarterback. Linebacker Jeremy Mack Jr. leads the defense with 1 sack, while safety Mario Easterly has a team-high 13 tackles.
