Florida Preview

The Florida Gators have scored just 33 points combined over their last three games and head coach Billy Napier finds himself on the hot seat once again. The Gators (1-3) have already dropped two games versus in-state opponents and rank second worst in the SEC Conference in total offense. Last Saturday, Florida managed just 141 yards during an ugly 26-7 road loss against fourth ranked Miami.

Florida trailed 13-0 at halftime and made things interesting late in the third quarter on Jadan Baugh’s seven-yard touchdown run. Embattled QB D.J. Lagway completed 12 of 23 passes for a woeful 61 yards in a losing effort for the Gators, who failed to convert any of their 13 third-down attempts.
