Defensively, Clemson was outmatched, giving up 354 yards and 17 points after LSU scored 14 points in the second half.

Cade Klubnik had a below-average season debut, completing just 19 passes for 230 yards in the game. Adam Randall led the way on the ground for Clemson with 16 yards and one score on five carries. Bryant Wesco Jr led the team with 66 yards on 4 receptions. TJ Moore chipped in four catches for 55 yards in the game.
