On Saturday, Tulane raced out to a 14-point lead after one quarter and held on late for a 34-27 home victory versus Duke.

BYU transfer QB Jake Retzlaff continued his stellar start to the year for Tulane with 245 passing yards. Retzlaff added a game-high 111 rushing yards and scored four touchdowns. Shazz Preston added 95 receiving yards for the Green Wave, who won despite committing eight penalties for 100 yards.

Ole Miss Preview

The Ole Miss Rebels were arguably the most talented team to miss last season’s College Football Playoff and are looking for redemption. The Rebels (3-0) currently rank fourth in the SEC Conference in total offense and are averaging 44.7 points per contest. Last week, Ole Miss rolled up 475 yards and did not commit a turnover during a 41-35 home victory versus Arkansas.

Senior QB Trinidad Chambliss made his first start of the year and completed 21 of 29 passes for 353 yards. Chambliss rushed for two short touchdowns and connected with De’Zhaun Stribling on a six-yard score to give Ole Miss a 38-28 advantage. Harrison Wallace contributed six receptions for 92 yards and a touchdown.
