Browns Analysis

Cleveland dropped its opener 17-16 to Cincinnati at home, struggling to finish drives despite moving the ball well through the air. The veteran quarterback threw for 209 yards and two touchdowns on 14 completions, spreading the ball around while Zay Flowers exploded for 143 yards and a score. Derrick Henry looked like a force, rushing for 169 yards and two touchdowns on just 18 carries. The Ravens proved they can still generate explosive plays, but the defense allowed far too many points to keep pace.

With Baltimore at home, the formula is clear: lean on Henry’s bruising runs and let Jackson operate in the play-action game. Flowers has quickly become a top weapon, giving the Ravens the vertical threat they lacked last season. Roquan Smith’s 10 tackles highlight the defensive intensity, but the unit has to tighten up in coverage after getting lit up by Buffalo. Fortunately for them, Cleveland doesn’t bring the same offensive balance.
