Over the last two years, the Houston Texans have won 20 regular season games and have claimed consecutive AFC South Division titles. Last year, the Texans (0-1) ranked fifth in the NFL in total defense and allowed 21.9 points per contest. On Sunday, Houston’s offense failed to reach the end zone during a 14-9 road loss against the Los Angeles Rams.

Third-year pro C.J. Stroud completed 19 of 27 passes for 188 yards and was intercepted once. Newly acquired Houston RB Nick Chubb carried 13 times for a game-high 60 yards. Ka’imi Fairbairn nailed three field goals in a losing effort for the Texans, who committed 11 penalties for 80 yards.
