Seattle’s defense has held opponents to just 2.67 goals per game and ranks top 10 in shots against at 28.5 per contest. The power play has been effective at 23.5%, and the penalty kill sits at 71%, a mark that should improve with Jared McCann nearing his return from injured reserve.

Seattle’s balance between defensive play and effective goaltending makes it a difficult home opponent.
